Rye “Artemis”

Brief description of the variety and its main characteristics:
Artemis is a rye population, registered under EU regulation as organic heterogeneous material. It has long straw but is still sufficiently stable. Maturity is medium to late. Baking trials have yielded good results. In the Bavarian organic variety trials in 2024, yields at all four locations were among the highest of the tested rye populations (at that time still under the name Hades, which was not accepted when registered).
